This single arm traffic control barrier is the answer to private and public traffic control, in airports, hospitals, etc.
The 1″ x 6″ (2.54cm x 15.24cm) barrier arm is made of light wood such as white pine, up to 12 feet (3.66m) in length and finished with an exterior drink paint. Lined on both sides with diagonal yellow stripes for better visibility. The arm is fitted with a quick-fixing flange that allows easy positioning in the event of breakage without having to dismantle the entire control system.
Doorlec’s TCBOS model features a double synchronized drive device. It is designed to withstand the severe regime of continuous operation.
Heating element of 500W controlled by thermostat ensuring a normal temperature in the control cabinet in the most extreme atmospheric conditions, preventing freezing of gear reducer oil and eliminating humidity on electrical components.
Accepts any optional equipment for full automation of operation. (See Catalog No. F113).
Control by three push-buttons:
Momentary push type to open, close and stop. The control can be stopped in any position and the barrier can be opened or closed from this position. On request, the close button can be wired to respond only to a continuous press. Control circuit: 24V AC for user safety.
Barrier cabinet:
Constructed of welded 10 gauge cold rolled steel; grind smooth welds. Two lockable access doors located on the opposite side of traffic for easy maintenance and service. The top cover is also removable for easy adjustment of limit switches and drive mechanism. Access doors are gasketed and designed to meet EEMAC Class 4 requirements. Totally waterproof assembly.
The gate cabinet is treated with a coat of rust inhibitive primer and finished with a spray coat of beige-gold enamel.

By means of V-belts and pulleys for the primary reduction and a worm gear reducer. 60:1 single stage ratio for secondary reduction to barrier drive shaft. Angular speed of the barrier: 32o/second. Opens or closes in less than 3 seconds.
Limit switches:
Rotary type with precision microswitches, to stop the barrier in the up or down position. Easily adjusts without tools.
Engine :
1/3 HP (249W), 120V or 240V single phase with manual overload and brownout protection.
The traffic control barrier is pre-wired, color coded and labeled at the factory.
Each order is delivered with its wiring plan and installation manual.
The control is tested at the factory before it is shipped.
